This legislation would move electronic cigarettes, vaping products, and other nicotine products under “Other Tobacco Product” regulations and taxing policy.  This would impact the taxes collected, labeling requirements, and bonding requirements for a person that sells and distributes these products.   

Municipal Impact: This legislation brings tobacco products, e-cigarettes, and other vaping products under the same State code.  It also increases the tax rate on e-cigarettes and vaping products.  This legislation failed in the Senate.
